Founded in 1985 as Custom Electric, we began serving the commercial, industrial and residential electrical needs of customers throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  In 1990, we acquired Macro Media Systems, Inc., and moved to our present location at 407 D.W. Hwy., Merrimack, NH.

We were then able to compliment our quality electrical contracting services with data communications systems and services including LAN/WAN, Fiber, Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and Intercom Systems.

Today, our crew of committed technicians and electricians includes a staff of 12 employees and a fleet of 7 service vehicles – including a bucket truck for those hard to reach places such as parking lot re-lamping or high service entrance locations.

Throughout the years, we have been committed to the communities that we serve, giving back wherever and however we are able.  Our bucket truck can often be seen helping the town of Merrimack prepare for holidays or special events by helping to hang banners!

In 1999, we were formally recognized by the Merrimack, NH Chamber of Commerce as their Business of the Year.  That same year, we were honored by the U.S. Senate as a ‘Business of Distinction’, by Senator Bob Smith from the floor of the US Senate in Washington, D.C.

In 2006, Tom Nutting sold Custom Electric/Macro Media Systems, Inc. to Jeff Kibbie and today we are now known as Custom Electric & Communications, LLC. We are moving forward with the same great people (including Tom Nutting), and the same great tradition of keeping Technology in Focus and Delivering on VALUE for each of our customers!
